About the Course

This live, in-person training is designed to give you the knowledge, theory, protocols, and hands-on experience needed to confidently offer Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture in your practice.

Led by internationally recognised educator Michelle Gellis, this course combines practical, in-person learning with comprehensive pre-recorded training to maximise your time in the treatment room.

Through a blend of guided practice and structured online modules, you’ll learn how to deliver a gentle, natural approach to facial rejuvenation, helping your patients refresh their appearance while supporting overall well-being.

How the Course is Delivered

This is a hybrid training experience, designed to build your understanding before you step into the room. Your weekend workshop focuses on applying the techniques so you can use them straight in your clinic on Monday morning. 

• Two-day, in-person practical training focused on hands-on application and technique refinement
• 24 hours of pre-recorded webinar modules to be completed in advance
• Online quizzes and structured learning are integrated within the webinar modules to support clinical understanding

The online component ensures you arrive with a solid foundation, allowing you to maximise your time in the room - refining technique, building confidence, and deepening your clinical understanding through hands-on practice.

Day 1:

• Review of Recordings
• Cosmetic Acupuncture Demo and practice

Day 2:

• Demo & Practice cupping Gua sha and cupping
• Demo & Practice advanced techniques

Online Learning (On Demand Access)

Your registration includes access to a comprehensive suite of recorded webinars and quizzes, designed to support your learning before and after the course.

Total online learning: 24 hours

• Module 1: Patient Intake, Diagnosis & Contraindications (3 hours)
• Module 2: Theory & Treatment Protocols (4 hours)
• Module 3 (Optional): Face Reading, Microneedling & Skincare (2 hours)
• Module 4: Facial Rejuvenation Techniques – Cupping, Gua Sha & Derma Roller (8 hours)
• Module 5: Advanced Facial Acupuncture Protocols (7 hours)

Note: Completion of the core modules and quizzes is required prior to attending the in-person training.

Pre-Course Requirements

To ensure you get the most out of the hands-on training, completion of the pre-course learning is required.

About Michelle Gellis

Michelle Gellis is a Licensed Acupuncture Physician and an Author.
Currently on Doctoral Faculty at Yo San University (Los Angeles) she is former Faculty and Clinic Supervisor at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (2005-2019). Michelle teaches facial acupuncture classes internationally and has been published in prominent acupuncture publications such as the Journal of Chinese Medicine.

Throughout her career, Michelle has been sought out to lecture by numerous prestigious national and international organisations such as Pacific Symposium, The Florida State Oriental Medical Association, The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (UK), China Books (AU), and American Acupuncture Council.

Michelle brings a vibrant teaching style and breadth of knowledge of facial and cosmetic acupuncture, encompassing safety, ethics, theory, history, point location, and unique precision needling techniques. Cancellations made before full payment is received will be refunded less a 20% administration fee. Cancellations made after full payment and up to 3 weeks before the workshop date will be refunded at 50%. Your access to the online learning portal will remain available to you.
